This thick and comfortable hand-knitted scarf is made from pure, heavyweight wool sourced from Arles Merino sheep and pre-Alpine breeds from southern France. Carded and spun at the Valgaudemar mill in Saint-Firmin, in the Hautes-Alpes region, it is of the highest quality. Selected and worked with the utmost care at every stage, it was knitted over many evenings spent on my boat on the Canal du Midi. Its basketweave pattern gives it a pleasant texture.

 Lightweight and durable, this scarf folds into a small roll. Soft and pleasant to the touch, it's also a robust and hard-wearing rustic fabric, ideal for a lifetime of use. Long enough to be draped around the neck without being wrapped, yet long enough to be worn in a variety of ways.

 Hand wash in lukewarm water, never exceeding 30°C, air dry away from any heat source. Store preferably in a linen bag.
