Gifts from the bee
All candles are handmade with care on board my boat in France,
using pure beeswax from sustainable, healthy beehives and happy bees.
I hope you will like them and I thank you for choosing and supporting Vieille Abeille.
Pure Beeswax
Beeswax is a natural wax produced by worker bees. Wax is formed into scales via glands in the abdominal segments of worker bees. Bees then use it to form cells for storing honey and protecting larvae and pupae. Beeswax is edible, and has the European Union number E901.
What is beeswax used for? Beeswax has been used since ancient times. Furniture polish, bow strings, bronze tarnish prevention, waterproofing, lubricant, plant grafting, tambourine protection, leaf preservation, ski and snowboard polish, batik art, non-toxic natural crayons, lip balms, hair and body use, as an ingredient is soap and lotions, eco-friendly food sealant...
There are so many uses for it!
